Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Using a cookie cutter or cup, cut out 4 circles to fit into your tart molds. My tart molds are 2 inches in diameter, you can cut out more or less circles depending on the size of your molds.
Fit the pie dough into the tart molds, then refrigerate until the filling is ready.
Roughly chop the roasted pecans into small pieces.
Whisk together the butter, sugar, egg, and maple syrup. Fold in the chopped pecans.
Fill the tarts 3/4 full with the filling, top with the raw pecans, then bake for 20-25 minutes or until fully done.
Let cool then enjoy!
