Easy Mini Pecan Pies

Mini Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • pie dough
  • 1/2 cup roasted pecans
  • 3 tbsp melted unsalted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • raw pecans for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Using a cookie cutter or cup, cut out 4 circles to fit into your tart molds. My tart molds are 2 inches in diameter, you can cut out more or less circles depending on the size of your molds.
  • Fit the pie dough into the tart molds, then refrigerate until the filling is ready.
  • Roughly chop the roasted pecans into small pieces.
  • Whisk together the butter, sugar, egg, and maple syrup. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  • Fill the tarts 3/4 full with the filling, top with the raw pecans, then bake for 20-25 minutes or until fully done.
  • Let cool then enjoy!
